The UX Designer will work closely with user experience team members, stakeholders, product managers and developers to plan, design, and execute UX processes for a variety of websites supported by the GM Financial marketing department.
This is a forecasted position.
Responsibilities
JOB DUTIES:
* Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, designers, researchers, and developers to create UX enhancements and translate market and user research into requirements * Hands-on development of user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes * Researching analytics and user centric data to drive UX changes and enhancements * Implementation and monitoring of A/B testing to achieve data driven goals * Creating prototypes using Axure, similar software or HTML/CSS/JavaScript * Developing rich UI designs for multiple websites * Designing pixel perfect mockups * Articulating designs to development through redlining, interactive guides or other resource materials

Qualifications
Knowledge:
* Advanced knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator/Sketch/Axure or similar design/prototyping tools * Ability to code prototypes in HTML/CSS/JavaScript * Advanced understanding of responsive design and related coding techniques
Skills:
* Must be comfortable interfacing with developers, designers, product managers and non-technical executives * Keen eye to preserve integrity of the design throughout the entire development process
Experience:
* Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree * 3-5 years of Web Design, UX/UI Design and/or HCI design * Experience with wireframe, workflow and information architecture design * Experience conducting user research and analysis * Experience crafting A/B testing strategies and implementing analytics funnels
