Job Description

Solution Architects are key Tech leaders in Oasis Technology department that utilize their technical and business acumen to design the right technical solutions that meet the business needs while steering Oasis Technology towards its Strategy Technology Direction. Solution Architects utilize past, current and emergent technical design patterns to create a blueprint for solving complex business problems. SA's understand the marketplace for solutions to common business problems and find best-fit technical solutions to those problems. SA's also help define and evolve the Oasis Technology enterprise architecture.

Research Market Solutions - Based on a business need, utilize market research services to understand pro and cons of all solutions in the market places, conduct feasibility assessment

Oasis Tech Strategy Technology Direction and Enterprise Architecture - Contribute to and maintain Technology Strategy Design for Oasis Technology.

Technical Solutions - Utilize past, current and emergent technical design patterns to create a blueprint for solving complex business problem at hand.

Technical Leadership - Provide technical leadership for development teams, introduce the teams to and train them on latest technical patterns and technologies.

Formal education and experience for the SA job description varies according to the nature of the job responsibilities. However, the following are commonly required in the SA role.

* Ability to understand and apply architecture frameworks and framework-based thinking
* Broad understanding of Technology Capabilities, with emphasis on Cloud Technologies
* Ability to be hands-on with Technology Capabilities
* Clear understanding of Integration patterns and techniques (APIs, ESB, etc)
* Ability to keep on top of emerging market trends in solution and enterprise architecture
* Ability to produce usable technical documentation that translates business requirements to Technology designs and solutions
* Communication, Presentation, and Change Management Skills
* Ability to articulate/relate complex Technology material to a variety of different types of stakeholders
* Ability to identify and resolve complex problems (Technology and Process)
