Job Description

The Candidate Experience Technology (CXT) team, part of the Recruiting Technology (RT) organization, is looking for an SDE II to join the new Talent Movement Technology (TMT) team. The TMT team's goal is to provide technical solutions that support and foster talent movement across Amazon, aligning people's strengths to Amazon business-critical work. Talent Movement enables managers to hire internal candidates for their teams while helping employees navigate to new internal roles. The goal for the TMT team's service is to recommend internal opportunities which align to individual job seeker's career progression at Amazon, while getting the right talent where Amazon needs it the most.

This new team will begin by developing an initial matching service that supports experimenting with our ability to identify and surface talent for specific Amazon business needs. We will measure the effectiveness of a central mechanism and refine the inputs required from managers and employees to develop a matching service. As the team determines the criteria needed from hiring managers and the attributes required in order to identify talent across organizations, the TMT team will be working closely with the rest of Recruiting Technology to leverage and learn from priorities across Hire and Amazon.jobs/JobFinder, improving the internal candidate experience end to end.

As an SDE II for the TMT team, you will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including advocating for candidates, clarifying requirements, system design, development, documentation, testing, and operations. You will leverage Amazon's industry leading technologies to build modern, distributed systems. You should have strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-driven, and have a demonstrated track record of delivering high quality results, in a fast-paced environment.
