Project Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
Listed below are the typical duties and responsibilities expected of an individual for the job title described in this document. The items specified below are a guideline of the minimum expectations for the job title.
●Drive Sprint planning, PI planning, dependency management, retrospectives, risk identification and risk mitigation.
●Be an integral part of the team, keep all the stakeholders informed on the Project status, risks and issues on a weekly basis.
●Ability to manage team velocity and commitments throughout project execution.
●Have strong communication and meeting management skills with virtual teams.
●Experience working with teams spanning different locations, time zones, and countries.
●Ability to reinforce Pearson's core values and team communication contracts.
●Able to reinforce Quality Engineering practices and Engineering best practices while delivering business value.
●Identify Risks, create mitigation plans and trigger points across teams.
●Strong listening skills.
●Positive attitude that builds collaboration to exceed expectations.
Education / Experience
●Individual should possess a minimum of Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology/Management.
●Individual should have 5-7 years of experience in software development Project Management.
●Familiarity with Jira, Tableau and other Project Management tools
Preferred certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
●SAFe Certification
●Scrum Master Certification
