Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our IT Managed Services Team within the IIS Business Unit. The individual selected for this role will be responsible for becoming a technical team lead within a multi site team of technicians. Duties may include upgrading critical infrastructure VmWare hosts, Citrix hosts and Domain Controllers; managing and patching critical infrastructure servers and equipment; managing backup systems; maintaining data storage; security hardening of systems and maintaining RMF security accreditation; documenting processes; and providing Tier 2 support to the IT Service Desk. Duties may also include monitoring and supporting the following IT services: email, database, instant messaging, Sharepoint, VMWare virtual infrastructure, Citrix VDI, AWS cloud services, and Active Directory.

The supported systems are located at multiple sites and will require remote support abilities. The position will require regular collaboration and cooperation with teammates and peers at other locations via telephone, email and instant messaging, security hardening, and compliance responsibilities.

This position requires an existing DoD 8570 security certification, OR certification within 6 months of starting the position.

This position can be located in Richardson, TX, Aurora, CO, Dulles, VA or State College, PA.

Required Skills:

* Must be a US citizen with active TS/SCI with CI Poly
* Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of related experience
* Experience supporting VMWare virtual environments
* Active Directory group policies and scripting policies
* Experience applying RMF-based security policies pertaining to IT systems
* Experience performing IT system maintenance, installs, upgrades and backups
* Some RedHat Linux experience
* Must have a current DoD 8570 security certification (acceptable certifications are: Security+, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, CASP, or GCIH)
* Outstanding customer service, communication and process documentation skills

Desired Skills:

* AWS experience
* Experience being technical team leader

Required Education (including Major):

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology or related field; OR 14 additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree
