Sr. IT Mulesoft Integration Engineer

Currently, we are looking for a self-driven individual with a "get it done" attitude and a passion to solve complex business and technology problems. This individual will translate business requirements into working solutions through building and delivering intelligent and robust integration solutions for our business. These solutions will leverage integration platforms where possible and extend the platforms using custom code.

Job Description and Specific Responsibilities

Immediate responsibilities include:

* Work with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-designed integration solutions
* Participate in technical design sessions and develop detailed technical solution documentation that is aligned with business objectives
* Develop, test, and document integration solutions, custom development, and data migration elements of business applications in the CRM, ERP, SCM, HCM domains
* Design, develop, and implement MuleSoft solutions for integration and API management initiatives
* Develop interface specifications to support microservice related initiatives
* Create technical documentation to support designs, implementation, and architecture

Qualifications/Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
* 8+ years of hands-on software development with 5 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions with Mulesoft runtimes (3.x and 4.x)
* Mulesoft Certified Developer certification is required
* Mulesoft Certified Architect - Solution Design certification is desirable
* Demonstrated experience with RAML 1.0 and Swagger/Open API specification formats
* Demonstrated experience implementing Mule ESB architecture, rules, caching, etc.
* Experience with Mule administration, configuration, and tuning
* Extensive experience working with REST, SOAP, XML APIs to integrate data and business processes across enterprise application platforms like Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Coupa, ServiceNow as well as on-premise systems (SFTP, MySQL and other DB technologies)
* Strong problem-solving and software triage skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment
* Experience with exception handling, alerting, auditing, and security patterns for complex workflows.
* Experience building and implementing automated unit tests, end to end tests, and load testing strategies to ensure a quality solution is delivered
* Ability to prepare technical specifications and other documentation artifacts
* Effective communicator and ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members, including functional business stakeholders, application developers, QA, and other technical team members

Preferred Competencies

* Comfortable in an AWS environment
* Workday integration experience is nice to have (Workday integrations, Studio and Reporting)
* SFDC integration experience is nice to have
* Project management experience is a plus

Previous experience in the field of synthetic biology is not essential.
