Job Summary

Under general direction, the Sr. MicroStrategy Report Engineer participates in the design, construction, implementation and support of software products and tools intended to deliver first-class solutions to Green Dot's data analytics needs. This position is responsible for designing, constructing, and delivering quality reporting solutions to Green Dot Stakeholders based upon business requirements, documentation, and architectural designs.

Job Responsibilities

* Design and develop reporting models to meet business requirements
* Create ad hoc queries to support business decisions
* Create stored procedures, MicroStrategy reports, and/or Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) data from transaction systems into the reporting environment
* Demonstrates expertise in all components of MicroStrategy including projects, intelligent cubes, reporting, visual insight, administration, and mobile integration
* Design and develop semantic layer deliveries for end user effectiveness.
* Ability to create free-form SQL for MicroStrategy reports, documents, and dashboards
* Support and maintenance of the reporting and data warehouse environments
* Contribute to matrix teams designing and developing reporting and data warehouse solutions

Job Requirements

* 3+ years of experience as a MicroStrategy Developer & Dossier (version 9 or higher).
* 3+ years with MicroStrategy dashboard development and reports development.
* Experience in Mobile dashboard and Transaction services.
* The candidate should have working knowledge of database concepts and SQL Experience with data analysis and modeling.
* Able to act as the team leader by delegating duties to developers and providing support
* Comfortable balancing conflicting priorities to meet specific deadlines
* Excellent communication skills are essential to this position
* MicroStrategy Certification a plus
