Job Description

Research & Registry Administrator

Coordinates and manages the day-to-day activities related to the New England Baptist Hospital Orthopedic Registry. Ensures completion of patient-reported and clinical-reported health data via a web-based system.

* Threshold Requirements
* Experience with RStudio
* Capable of writing/debugging R-functions, ggplot, dplyr, R-markdowns, Flexboards, and API calls


* Experience as a REDCap administrator for v8.2 or higher
* Experience building and managing REDCap projects
* Experience with ETL as pertinent to data migration from csv files into REDCap
* Experience with Automatic Survey Invitations (ASIs), longitudinal, repeated events, and REDCap surveys
* Experience with LDAP and Table based users




* Target Requirements
* Experience following established protocols for data transformation and loading
* Experience submitting and renewing IRB protocols
* Capable of performing REDCap upgrades with minimum supervision
* Familiar with REDCap's API and API Playground
* Comfortable with Windows Server 2012 R2
* Software Requirements:
* Comfortable developing using: HTML, PHP, JavaScript, PhpMyAdmin, and MySQL or similar.


* B.S. in Computer Science or similar


* Max Requirements:
* M.S. in Computer Science or similar
* Experience developing/maintaining REDCap's hooks, plug-ins, or External Modules.
* 3+ years of experience using the mentioned technologies
* Experience using Confluence
* Capable of training Research Fellows on Registry and REDCap duties.
* Capable of distributing Registry and REDCap tasks among Research Fellows
* Capable of designing and creating Registry's Annual Report.
