Job Description

Position Overview

As part of the Global Services organization, the Project Manager has an overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closing of Intelex ACTS and v6 software implementations and additional, on-going projects.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

Project Delivery

* Leads multiple, concurrent small to large-size client projects.
* Identifies resources needed and assigns tasks in accordance with the project schedule.
* Prepares a Statement of Work for each project and associated project plans with input from solution architects and consultants as needed.
* Ensures the timely submission of time and expense reports.
* Adheres to the project scope, budget, deadlines, and schedules.
* Coordinates documentation of the completed project

Implementation Support

* Works in collaboration with (Sr.) Solution Architects and (Sr.) Consultants to develop project plans that align to the requirements and effort of client solutions.
* Coordinates project requirements with clients in order to ensure complete alignment on project deliverables.
* Effectively communicates with the client, Intelex project team and other cross-functional departments in order to ensure all project requirements and milestones are understood and delivered according to the project plan.
* Ensures all client information / data requirements are received and communicated.
* Creates and executes project plans and revises as appropriate in order to meet requirements.
* Facilitates the day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, including project budget.
* Effectively applies implementation methodology and enforces project standards.
* Identifies and mitigates project exposure and risk.

Operations

* Responsible for meeting time to value, CSAT, utilization and revenue targets.
* Identifies business development and "add-on" sales opportunities.
* Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
* Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential.
* Sets and manages client expectations throughout a project.
* Effectively communicates with clients to identify needs and evaluate business solutions.
* Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
* Contributes towards the continual improvement of our service delivery models.

* Responsible for working with finance to ensure project invoices are released and paid by the client.
* Manages changes in scope, schedule and budget throughout the project in accordance with standard change processes.
* Sets and manages client expectations throughout a project.
* Ensures that quality solutions are provided to the client, that QA/QC processes are followed and that project objectives are achieved.
* Manages project team throughout the life of the project setting clear expectations, provides coaching, feedback and utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential.
* Responsible for project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
* Responsible for delivery of project scope and schedule.

* Reports to the Consulting Manager, Global Services

Qualifications

* Understanding of Environmental, Health, Safety or Quality Management Systems considered an asset.

* Professional self-starter: able to develop and maintain project management skillset and product knowledge.
* Able to work collaboratively and lead others in a team setting.

Technical Competencies

* Strong understanding of the software implementation project lifecycle including waterfall and agile methodologies
* Prior experience reporting greenhouse gas emissions under Title 40, Chapter I, Subchapter C, Part 98 of the Code of Federal Regulations an asset

Experience

* 3 + Years of experience in Project Management role, or equivalent experience within a software delivery environment.

Education

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
* PMP certification, preferred.
