Job Description

BAE Systems seeks a senior level experienced Network engineer to perform network application architecting, designing, developing, installation/configuration, packaging, testing, implementing, and Tier 3 level troubleshooting of Cisco-brand network-related equipment of a large scale government enterprise environment.

The primary scope of this work shall include the efforts involved with engineering (designing, developing, installing, configuring, testing, and implementing) various LAN/WAN projects involving Cisco network solutions. Additionally, the candidate will participate in capturing and analyzing technical requirements; documenting detailed system designs, implementation plans, and operations guides of network systems; participate in both project and operational meetings; providing Tier 3 level support utilizing change control processes.

In time, the candidate will also monitor LAN infrastructure activity and performance for utilizing LAN, QoS, VLAN, IOS, Netflow and SNMP, Solarwind's Orion, and/or OPNET Ace Live technologies.
