We are looking for a person who can come in and take charge of our internal Helpdesk role. This person will support the employees of the business and be their first point of contact for any IT issues. This person must have strong experience supporting Windows laptops. Previous experience supporting Mac machines is a plus.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their infrastructure skillset. Along with the helpdesk duties, this person will get the opportunity to assist other IT Engineers on their projects. They will be working with many different backend technologies, such as Active Directory, Exchange, Hyper-V, Cisco, just to name a few.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Knowledge of Windows client operating systems (7/8/10) * Knowledge of Windows server operating systems (2003 through 2016) * Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (2016/2019/O365) * Knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange * Knowledge of Hyper-V virtualization * Knowledge of Office 365 / SharePoint Online * Daily operation and support of all user laptops, printers, monitors & other equipment. * Provide internal help desk desktop support during business hours. * Receive and quickly respond to internal help desk ticketing system. * Work under other Infrastructure Engineers to support all backend system infrastructure including but not limited to Windows Servers, Network, Backups, Phone Systems, and Voice Mail. * Knowledge of design and implementation of local area networks. * Ability to troubleshoot network, network connectivity, and computer problems. * Be willing to accept after hours on call rotational responsibilities
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; two to three years related experience and/or training required.
