Jr. System Design & Integration Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Jr. System Design & Integration Specialist to join the Byline Bank Technology Services Team to assist in the review, design, implementation and operational handoff for new application and systems. This critical role will need to create and update the system design documentation and coordinate system validation throughout the entire lifecycle.

In this position you will be responsible for working with Systems Engineers or designees to complete various tasks such as but not limited to the collection and maintenance for system design documentation, business functional requirements, maintaining alignment with Information Security for business continuity and disaster recovery requirements, user provisioning requirements.

The ideal candidate would be knowledgeable in overall IP networking, Windows servers, Windows tasks and advanced monitoring, be able to troubleshoot and debug system issues during preproduction phases, create visual representations of systems and their inputs and outputs, ensure maintenance and deployments are handed off without errors.

This position might require work outside of regular business hours for example during various projects or installations and the potential need to be on "on call" in the case of emergencies.

Education and Skills

* Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent job experience
* 3+ years in a similar position supporting an engineering technology team
* Good communication skills, both oral and written
* Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
* High degree of comfort with the general aspects of technology and industry jargon
* Strong writing and documentation skills using Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Visio
* Flexibility, adaptability working in a fast-paced environment
* Sense of urgency ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner
* Commitment, passion and confidence as a team player
