Looking for Fall 2019 Interns!
As an Intern in the Engineering Development Group (EDG), you will work on a project throughout the internship, as well as gain some exposure so our products and our clients. You will also provide valuable feedback to our development teams and become a resource for our worldwide team.
You will be working closely with full time Engineers in the Engineering Devleopment Group and have the opportunity for consideration to transition to a fulltime role in the Engineering Development Group (EDG) and other departments in MathWorks.
Responsibilities
You will receive a combination of practical experience and formal training in a work environment that fosters and rewards cooperation, teamwork, learning, and fun. This will allow you to gain:
* Product knowledge. * Troubleshooting skills. * Software testing and debugging. * Exposure to real-world applications. * Opportunities to develop your communication, presentation and leadership skills. * Opportunities to develop your programming skills.
Minimum Qualifications
* Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline.
Additional Qualifications
* Pursuing an MS or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Biomedical or other Engineering disciplines with a strong academic record * Strong programming skills * Excellent communication and time management skills are a must * Strong Math/Calculus background * MATLAB and/or Simulink knowledge or experience is a plus * 3-6 month full-time commitment
