About

As an engineering lead in the Tools team, you will help build and run the applications that the rest of engineering, product, and operations teams use on a daily basis to accomplish their goals. As a lead you will be responsible for continuously providing mentorship and guidance and rolling up your sleeves and working side by side with the rest of the team. At times you will work with small teams to build software, design processes, design CI/CD pipelines, or deploy and troubleshoot tools in production. Other times you will strategize on how to improve the efficiency of the organization and bring down cost of ownership of our internal tools.

If you are a software or DevOps engineer who, in addition to writing code and leading engineering teams, is interested in influencing the roadmap of our internal tools and processes and helping build a more efficient engineering organization, this is a good opportunity to demonstrate your skills.

Requirements

* BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field or equivalent practical experience
* 5 years of management/leadership experience
* Good command of Java, Javascript, Python, Go or similar programming languages
* Experience with AWS
* Experience building and running production services
* Working experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
* Good communication skills

Preferred qualifications

* MS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field or equivalent practical experience
* AWS Certified (Associate or Professional)
* Good command of HTML and CSS
* Working experience with Kubernetes
* Working experience with VMWare
* Working experience with Jira and other Atlassian tools
