Job Overview As a Functional Safety Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for developing safety verification methodology, evaluating commercial tools, developing template test plan, driving pilot deployment, reviewing and certifying deployment quality, and being the gate keeper of functional safety quality for both IP and SOC. Additionally, you will be responsible for all the usual design verification tasks including understanding the expected functionality of designs, developing corresponding test plans, designing and developing components of our verification environment, and applying these to verify complex designs until coverage goals are achieved to ensure the continuing commercial success of our high-quality products. These designs are high performance low power Snapdragon SOCs for the mobile and autonomous driving market. All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
