SkillMagic was founded by Jason Lew, a repeat entrepreneur who has helped grow teams at Apple (iPhone engineer), MightySignal (Co-Founder & CTO/COO, acquired by Instacart), and Instacart (Director of Engineering, Growth Acquisition). The most rewarding part of his career has always been helping others reach their full potential through training and learning, which is why he started SkillMagic.

Currently, knowledge critical for helping people learn and grow at work is siloed in outdated docs, back-and-forth, emails, and in people's brains. SkillMagic is unifying this knowledge into a single source and makes it accessible through fast deployment, AI-driven recommendations, and a mobile-first learner experience. Specifically, we are focused on helping engineers grow their technical skills, even while working remotely.
