Reliant offers product knowledge, speed and pricing that the VAR and OEM can’t and won’t deliver. OEMs & VARs are interested in selling the latest gen product, yet most customers’ data centers are filled with infrastructure that is 2-3 generations old. Our goal is to help customers wanting to keep, upgrade, maintain or duplicate their existing infrastructure to save time, money and frustration.

Our History:

Reliant was formed in 2001 when Reid Smith-Vaniz, our CEO, and his business partner Manning Moxley, marrying their Solution Selling and Used Computer Brokerage expertise. The idea was to create a company that gave end-user customers a consultative approach to buying and maintaining hardware that was 1-5 generations back.

From humble beginnings in Reid’s loft apartment to today, Reliant has become the largest reseller of used storage infrastructure on planet earth, and continues to add new product lines, maintenance and service offerings to help customers take back control from the OEM.
