We are a passionate and entrepreneurial team of people with unrivaled experience and background in science, technology and healthcare.
Our mission is to transform brain health through measurement science.
Brain health is fundamental to our mental health and overall health. Mindstrong has developed and validated the first ever passive, continuous measures of brain function using patterns generated from touchscreen interactions like swipes and taps on your smartphone. These data reflect the way your brain processes and responds to the world around you. Mindstrong’s technology does not rely on any content, such as what's typed, voice calls, locations, passwords, or other personal information.
While weight, blood glucose or blood pressure are familiar objective measures of diabetes and heart disease, progress in mental health has been limited by the lack of similar objective and ecological measures. Mindstrong’s scientifically validated digital biomarkers of brain function are objective, ecological and proving essential in detecting and managing mental illness early when interventions are most effective and in achieving long-term good mental health.
We are looking for people who are passionate about our mission, committed to excellence and excited to build a company that will address one of the greatest health challenges of our time.
The Interview Process
Here’s the structure of the interview process:
Technical phone screen (Zoom)
-Length: 30-45 minutes. This call is generally with the hiring manager. This call will be going over the role, your past projects and what you are looking to see in the next step of your career.
Technical onsite
-Length:
-A 30 min Coding exercise (Engineering only)
-Presentation for 45 min of your own work to show your passion of your field (Data Science)
-Most interviews end with a conversation with the CEO/Founder the mind behind our brilliant mission. You will be able to ask questions about the company and where he sees us going in Mindstrong’s future.
The Offer Process
• One thing that’s different about Mindstrong is we’re able to quickly determine if we’re excited about you and move things forward. We will ask for references and complete them that week mostly the next day if references get back to us quickly. We will then have you manager give you a call to speak to you about compensation, equity and bonus. Any questions or concerns feel free to ask those either over lunch or at the debrief so that we have a chance to address those.
• We also can move slower if you want to wait until your other on-sites are finished — but we almost never send an offer letter until you feel excited enough about us to sign it if you were to receive one. In either case, you shouldn’t feel pressured to make a decision. But we also don’t want to slow things down if you know you’re
