Origin Story

Founded by partners at H Capital and Practice Perfect, Quesdify is currently living on their collective couches while we get it a place of its own in NYC.

The Name

To edify means to instruct intellectually and morally. Not only is it a great SAT word, but it's also what great teachers do. And with our help, qualified edifiers can do what they do best more quickly, answering more questions with quality. Hence QuEdify.com

The Goal

Uber Tutor was born out of a love for beautiful user experience, insider knowledge of the post-curricular education marketplace and a $108 billion market forecast for tutoring by the year 2018. Currently there is one major player in the online tutoring marketplace world, and we believe that we can do the whole thing better. By creatively vetting talent before hiring, providing users with a seamless experience, curating search results and offering one click scheduling, we believe that we can create a marketplace with lower transaction costs, higher visibility, and more value added. We all know that in the app market, winner takes all, and we believe that contest for the tutoring marketplace is just beginning. With your help, the possibilities for growth are endless.

The Deal

We are looking for three developers to join our CTO, our lead software architect, and our education talent for full-time development work in New York City. We have secured $600,000 in funding to develop a beta, and are hoping to begin work as soon as all remaining positions are filled.
