The reason we are embarking on this ambitious journey is that we believe:

1. Company data is getting silo'd in an ever-increasing number of SaaS systems
2. Teams that are autonomous on their data needs and can harness the power of this data will be 10x more productive and effective
3. For a tool to be used by non-tech users, it needs a new way of thinking from the ground up
4. The gap between today's complex BI systems (used by data teams) and spreadsheets (used by business users) is vast and ripe for innovation

Coefficient is backed by top-tier VCs in the SF Bay Area. We are experienced founders whose last startup, Shopular, was backed by Y Combinator and Sequoia capital and had a successful exit.

We are building a remote-first team and looking to hire experienced software engineers from US and India for backend and full-stack roles. Going remote from day one allows us to foster a culture of flexibility and focus on productivity rather than presence.
