We show users how clothing will fit on their bodies. Bespoke is building a beautifully advanced way to help people find their right fit. To do this we scan a user, build his or her realistic avatar, model 3D clothing, and generate images. We're producing an experience apparel shoppers will love.
Already, our digital images convince people they're real, i.e. the pass the visual Turing test. (We're new to Hired.com, so we haven't formatted a good set of content for this site. Please ask to see materials - we'll send them your way.)
We require deep technical talent. Our organization is setup to both push the limits of computer graphics and produce an engaging consumer website. We believe that technology serves product, and the value of technology comes from helping users.
Our team of 15 engineers includes 4 Ph.Ds and 2 PhD dropouts. We have three Academy Award Winners in Scientific and Technical achievements (i.e. Oscars for Specials Effects work.) Ever seen Iron Man, The Matrix Sequels, Minority Report, The Avengers, Pirates of the Caribbean, or Jurassic Park? Members of our team powered and created those movies. Our web product team is equally capable and includes an Emmy-winning designer and veterans from well known startups (Deem/ Jawbone/ Intuit/ Showdazzel).
We get stuff done and treat people well. We're often irreverent and with good reason. Workplace flexibility is valued and requires coworkers to be considerate and communicate well. Finally, we care a lot about great food... a lot. It matters =)
We start with a phone (or Skype) screen. If both sides want to move forward, we'll bring the candidate in to meet the team, interview, and go out for dinner. Depending upon a candidate's level of experience we may request they complete a relevant weekend project. Often we'll have a second round of conversations between the candidate and the team. Finally, we try to learn an individual's preference for equity/salary/"other thing" so we can tailor an offer. Sometimes "other things" are as important as compensation preference. It depends on the individual.
